Fiscal subject related
The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Srpska Zora Vidović, pointed out that one of the benefits of the new Law on Fiscalization is that revenues are going to be visible in real-time.
"As persons are liable for fiscalization, the law prescribes all persons registered to perform transactions and services in the Republic of Srpska. Having in mind that it may happen that persons who perform a certain activity due to technical and functional characteristics of fiscal devices and specifics of activities that they perform cannot record turnover through that device, exceptions may occur ", explained the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Srpska.
Also, this law leaves the possibility for the Government of the Republic of Srpska to subsequently determine by a decree or similar act some exceptions to recording trade through the electronic fiscal devices for certain subjects, so this may be done sometime in the future.
One of the most important matters is the bylaws and rulebooks that are scheduled to be passed within six months from the adoption. These bylaws and rulebooks will also determine deadlines for taxpayers to transfer to the new system.
