To ensure the quality and transparency of the upcoming e-Invoicing reform the Slovak authorities have announced public testing phase. To public cooperation authorities aim to gather public input on the upcoming reform to create the best possible reform. During the trial period, both the professional public and entrepreneurs will be allowed to try working with an online application or integration through OpenAPI set up by the Tax Authority.

In this way, the general public can be involved in the proposal to improve e-invoicing before it goes live, which is scheduled for January 2022 for the B2G, G2G, G2G segments and January 2023 for the B2B, B2C and G2C segments.
