Fiscal subject related
Specifically, the goal is to make the use of the mentioned devices mandatory by all business sectors, which means that next year the following should also have such POS machines:
- Theatres
- Cinemas
- Kiosks and many other business sectors which are currently excluded.
It is worth noting that under the current regime, more than 110 professional activities are included in the relevant list of obligated persons. At the same time, the cash registers will be connected to the EFT-POS so that the retail receipt is issued at the same time as the EFT receipt/slip, as many businesses in credit or debit card transactions do not issue the retail receipt, avoiding their obligations. With the connection, the tax office will know when the receipt was issued and will know the method of payment (whether was it paid by card or not).
As competent executives point out, the full operation of MyData and the interconnection of cash registers with taxis now pave the way for the expansion of such systems in all sectors of the economy. The obligation of interconnection is due in January 2023 and concerns businesses that issue accounting data through electronic tax mechanisms and at the same time have the obligation to use EFT-POS.
