For a quite of time, the requirements for the new fiscalization system in Spain has been introduced. It is known as Verifactu, but regulations determine how the system will look. Still, we are waiting for more technical regulations that will determine the system more precisely.

Although there are a large number of requirements, we can summarize that for fiscalization, 3 major requirements are:
- SW systems must generate an invoice/receipt record for each issued invoice/receipt
- Must provide the option of sending these records in real-time to the Tax Administration
- Need to ensure compliance with security and control features, particularly for invoicing records, along with the adoption of standard data formats
