The implementation timeline for domestic businesses is as follows:
- May 1, 2025 – Voluntary early adoption for GST-registered businesses,
- November 1, 2025 – Mandatory for newly incorporated companies that voluntarily register for GST,
- April 1, 2026 – Required for all new voluntary GST registrants.
InvoiceNow, introduced in 2019 and built on the Peppol network, enables businesses to exchange invoices digitally in a structured format. Companies can report e-invoices through various methods, including off-the-shelf accounting software integrated via API or custom ERP system adaptations.
